KAMAL is an association formed by some of the leading names in knitwear and Apparel manufacturers of Ludhiana who came under one umbrella for making an organised effort to develop and expand further. The main focus of knitwear and Apparel manufacturers Association of Ludhiana is to pool in efforts and resources and give a united and collective direction to their initiatives With vision to bring Ludhiana Knitwear Industry on the world map, some leading manufacturers of Ludhiana came together and started an organised effort in form of KAMAL. KAMAL is a trade association that strengthens and promotes Knitwear Business of Ludhiana with fully committed fair trade. Formed in 2008, the sole purpose of the association is to give a common indeginious platform and a common point for buying and selling process.
Knits & Wears 2008 was a highly successful buyer seller meet staged for the very first time in Ludhiana. The purpose of organising this event in Ludhiana itself recognized the need of the hour to pull prospective buyers to our city and make it the worthy destination for the buyers of knitwear/Textile goods from all over the country right from kashmir to Kanya Kumari and Shri Jagan Nath Puri to Kuchh.
Knits & Wears 2008 was held from June 21st to June 25th 2008 at two premium locations, The Maharaja Regency and Hotel Country Inn. The scenes at the venues witnessed serious professional business atmosphere. The interiors and decor of the dedicated enclosures provided ample space and had all the required amenities for conducive direct Buyer - Seller interaction and adequate sample display. The Positive response from the invited clientage far exceeded the expectations of the organizers.
